Detectives are looking for suspects who may have been involved in a gruesome rape and murder of a man whose body was later dumped in a Limuru forest.
The forest area in Limuru, according to locals, is a no-go zone, especially during the night.
A resident, Ms Grace Wambui, said she heard screams, but because the area has many drunkards passing by during the night, she could not differentiate whether they were genuine calls for help.

She added that the forested area was a particularly dangerous area during the night and that people are usually mugged and assaulted at the spot.
Another resident, Seth Simiyu also told the media that the area is practically impassable past 10pm as it becomes a hotspot for muggers and rapists.
“Without adequate security in this place, a lot of people will die here,” he added.
