A video has surfaced on social media showing a driver being beaten up by angry passengers over reckless driving.
According to the Twitter user who shared the video, the passengers had boarded the matatu with registration plates KCL 740B in Nairobi.
They were heading to Limuru when they noticed that the driver was not adhering to road rules.
They asked the driver to stop the vehicle and went on to confront him about his driving.
In the video that is doing rounds on social media, one man is seen disembarking from the matatu before proceeding to the driver’s side.
He is seen running after the driver who was donning a black shirt and black trousers.

The man is heard asking why the driver was not following road rules.
“Does he want to kill us? How is he driving? How many times have we asked him to slow down? We warned him,” the man posed.
A female passenger is heard asking the angry man to forgive the driver but he did not want to hear any of it.
