The death of former National Assembly Clerk Justin Bundi once again revealed the bad state of Cancer in Kenya as once again another dedicated Public Servant lost his life to the dreaded disease.
Following his death, a number of leaders have been paying their tributes to Bundi with President Kenyatta being the latest to do so.
The President has sent a message of condolence and comfort to the family, friends and relatives of former clerk of the National Assembly Justin Bundi.
Describing him as a seasoned and committed public servant who had a deep understanding of legislative processes, the President said the late Bundi distinguished himself as a forthright and dependable public officer.

Bundi led an illustrious career in the civil service rising from a District Officer through the ranks to the position of Clerk, National Assembly, where he served until his retirement in March 2017.
National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi described Bundi as a personal friend whom he had known from high school.

“He will be remembered for initiating great reforms during the transition from a unicameral establishment to a bicameral Parliament and also for his outstanding service as the Clerk of the East African Assembly,” Muturi said.
On his Part, former Mukurweini MP Kabando Wa Kabando said that Bundi was a polite, soft-spoken and a dedicated career civil servant.
“Clerk Bundi was a polite, soft-spoken gentleman. A dedicated career civil servant. Fare Thee Well Clerk Justin Bundi. We thank God for the gift of his illustrious life. RiP, Amen,” Said Kabando Wa Kabando.
