Renown video director, Mushking and husband to rapper Xtactic is all joy as he shared his recovery process. Mushking has been hospitalized after he was diagnosed with Miller Fisher Syndrome, a rare non-chronic condition.

Through his Instagram account, he shared the recovery process saying; “Halleluja! So I’m on my 4th Neurologist so far,and he’s dismissed my last diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis for the initial diagnosis of Miller Fisher Syndrome!

This is good news because MFS isn’t a chronic disease like MG and the symptoms will wear off after some time. So he has had me redo a gazillion tests from scratch and ordered extra ones to completely confirm what I have, something the previous doctors and hospitals ignored.

Anyway, God is coming through day by day with these victories that mean the world to me. His timing, not mine, Soli Deo Gloria!”

He had previously shared an emotional message of how he thinks that he will never recover. He said; “I’ve been waiting for the right time of full recovery to send a grand thank you message for your prayers, support and financial contributions during my dire season of sickness but it seems that time is not coming soon.

When I fell sick I was wrongly diagnosed with Miller Fisher Syndrome, a rare non-chronic condition when in fact I have Myasthenia Gravis, a lifelong chronic neuro-muscular auto-immune disease.

Guess who's back?! Well not fully (pirate patch is not a fashion statement😬) but all Glory to God Im alive. I've been waiting for the right time of full recovery to send a grand thank you message for your prayers, support and financial contributions during my dire season of sickness but it seems that time is not coming soon. When I fell sick I was wrongly diagnosed with Miller Fisher Syndrome,a rare non-chronic condition when infact I have Myasthenia Gravis,a lifelong chronic neuro-muscular auto-immune disease.Their symptoms are very similar : paralysis or weakness of muscles, double vision, chronic fatigue etc but are managed with the same procedures hence why I didnt deteriorate further. I have only just recently come to terms with the fact that I might not have my normal life back -my 20/20 vision,my physical independence and my strength. However there is a surgery(thymectomy) and mild-chemotherapy (Rituximab infusion) that have 30-40% remmision rates in MG patients.Im hoping to be able to get them when Im financially ready. For now Im on inhibitors and steroids to give me strength to move and reduce the pains.Im not able to exert myself physically as before but I push myself where I can.All in all Im greatful to God for the gift of life, family, friends and well-wishers like you - this is just a phase in my journey and a setup for an amazing testimony for all of us one day.Lets continue to pray and support each other.Thank you. #myastheniagravis #survivor #healing #thankyou #Godisgoodallthetime
