The ‘Selina’ actor, Pascal Tokodi, was filled with sorrow after the memories of his late friend and fellow actor, Kone Nouhoum, were rekindled. This happened after he received a gift from Kone’s wife which Kone had promised to give to him before he died.
Through his Instagram account, Tokodi wrote a message to his late friend; ” Dear Kone, I received a belated gift from your wife today, a turtleneck shirt, the one I forcefully borrowed a while ago. She sent it with a message ” he always wanted you to have it “Brought back memories fam! thank you, Miss, you brother, watch over us!”
Kone passed on after fighting for his life in ICU for a period of four months after he was involved in a tragic accident at Olkaria geothermal spa in Nakuru County on 29 September 2018 which left him into a coma.
He had sustained multiple spinal fractures during the accident and had been in and out of surgery since then. Following his accident, friends and family appealed for funds towards offsetting the ballooning hospital bill that stood at Sh3.5 million at the time.
Kone starred in “This Is Life” web series that debuted this year, “New Beginnings”, as well as playing Hakeem in “Mali” and played as Reagan in “Selina.”
After he passed on, Tokodi shared an emotional tribute to him; “Last week, my uncle, this week, my brother I pray that you cherish every moment and every person in your life, you never know when it’s the last time you’ll see them.
Rest Kone, I’ll remember your loyalty, intelligence and most of all, your caring heart. Rest brother. It will be hard to find another idiot like Kone
