Deputy President William Ruto is known to be a man who does not mix his words especially when he is addressing his Political enemies.

Sunday saw the Country’s second in command once again take on Opposition Chief Raila Odinga for failing to live up to his word in the fight against corruption.

According to Ruto, Raila Odinga is to blame for the woes that have be-fallen
Anti-corruption tsar and whistleblower John Githongo.

Githongo was last week ordered to pay Ex-Minister Chris Murungaru 27 Million for defamation.

In the Thursday ruling, Githongo was directed to pay Mr. Murungaru Sh20 million in general damages, Sh5 million in exemplary damages, and Sh2 million in special damages.

The activist was also ordered to pay full interest on the award until Dr Murungaru receives all his money, and the costs of the suit.

Well, Ruto is now accusing Raila Odinga of fixing Githongo owing to his (Raila) failure to present evidence in Court like he had promised despite having a total of 13 years to do so.

Ruto called on Raila Odinga to stop using social platforms to speak about the fight against corruption while he does not walk his talk.

The DP has asked Raila Odinga to first table Evidence in Court on the Anglo-leasing scandal like he promised before lying to Kenyans that he is committed in the War against corruption.

In the Anglo Leasing scandal, the Mwai Kibaki regime lost billions of shillings in phantom security printing contracts.

The scam saw Anglo Leasing Finance paid Sh2.7 billion (at the current exchange rate) to supply the Kenyan government with a system to print new high-technology passports.

Githongo had left the country on an official visit to London from where he released the dossier and sought refuge for nearly three years, saying he feared for his life.

He has vowed to appeal the ruling by Justice Joseph Sergon that requires he coughs out 27 Million to Murungaru.
