Revealed! Kim Kardashian makes upto $1 million on each Instagram post

While we all scroll through Instagram all hours of the day for free, to Kim Kardashian it’s a business! Keeping you glued to her pictures is part of what puts food on the West’s table.

The entrepreneur is suing a maker of fast fashion knock-offs for infringing on her fashion choices and income streams.

She recently filed documents in her suit against Missguided USA in which she claims to earn between $300,000 and $500,000 for a single sponsored Instagram post.

However, according to TMZ, the 38-year-old reality star can actually pull in as much as $1 million per post and her legal team are likely to re-file the documents with the adjustment.

Kim filed the documents requesting a summary judgment of $5 million after Missguided failed to respond to her previous legal moves.

Kim may make a massive amount for a single post, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t selective.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star claims in the same legal filings that she often turns down offers for sponsored content so as not to be associated with companies she considers detrimental to her personal brand.

With 136 million followers, she certainly has a large audience whenever she chooses to promote a product.

Kim was originally seeking damages in excess of $10 million when she first launched her lawsuit against Missguided USA in February, suggesting her summary judgment request is a more realistic goal.

She lashed out at the fast fashion company that month after they started selling a copy of a striking black Thierry Mugler dress from 1998.

The company’s speed in creating a prototype and selling copies led some followers to assume Kim was collaborating with Missguided, an assumption she quickly corrected.

‘It’s devastating to see these fashion companies rip off designs that have taken the blood, sweat and tears of true designers who have put their all into their own original ideas.

I’ve watched these companies profit off my husband’s work for years and now that it’s also affecting designers who have been so generous to give me access to their beautiful works, I can no longer sit silent.

‘Only two days ago, I was privileged enough to wear a one-of-a-kind vintage Mugler dress and in less than 24 hours it was knocked off and thrown up on a site – but it’s not for sale. You have to sign up for a waitlist because the dress hasn’t even been made to sell yet.’

After Kim had expressed her displeasure, Missguided USA continued to tag her in their own posts, seemingly taunting her.

Kim’s legal battle comes after she expressed interest in passing the Bar Exam and becoming a lawyer.
