The rise on the street anthems that do not conform with the Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) has rubbed Ezekiel Mutua the wrong way.

In the last few months, the ghetto anthems have taken over the music scene outshining the stable artists.

Social media has been a tool that has propelled the growth of viral songs that youths record on their phones without having to go to the studios.

Ezekiel Mutua has been warning on such songs after the recent murder of Moi University student Ivy Wangeci who was axed by alleged boyfriend.

Mutua had also banned Taka Taka which he said incites youths to take action when rejected by women.
