Aukot Calls for the Arrest of Raila Odinga

Third Way Alliance Party Leader has called for the arrest of ODM leader Raila Odinga in the aftermath of the arrest of activist Boniface Mwangi.

Mwangi was arrested by DCI detectives from his home on Monday morning. The police did not tell him why he was arrested.

He was later told that he was being investigated for trying to organise a revolution that is likely to cause civil unrest and breach of peace.

But Aukot, he of the Punguza Mzigo initiative, has wondered why the police could arrest the former Starehe MP aspirant but have never done anything on Raila, who swore himself at Uhuru Park last year.

Aukot has accused the police of being theatrical and treating other Kenyans like sacred cows.

Raila was sworn in as the people’s President at Uhuru Park on 3oth January 2018 in broad daylight. Thousands of people witnessed the event at Uhuru Park while millions more watched it on TV.

He has never been charged with treason but Miguna Miguna, the person who administered the oath was deported to Canada.
