Mathare United Sinks Zoo Kericho’s Hope of Escaping Relegation

Mathare United thrashed their visitors Zoo Kericho 3-1 in their 27th round of Kenyan Premier League match.

Two goals from Nyakeya and one from Alwanga saw Mathare comfortably bag all the three points and go past Kakamega Homeboyz to the fourth position with 43 points.

However, Zoo Kericho managed to get a goal through a penalty after Dennis Omondi was brought down by James Situma.

Situma’s goal in the 41st minute was also disallowed for offside. This could have given Mathare another goal.
