Kenyans on Twitter have thrown their support behind a Nigerian Apostolic leader Richard Takim after he blasted church leaders for having failed in changing corrupt leaders.
Speaking during an interview on the “sidebar” hosted by Ken Mijungu. The vocal church leader took much of the blame to church leaders who seem to entertain corrupt officials and turned the church into money-making business.
Takim said that our church leaders are the ones who have failed the nation as some know the corrupt members but cannot mention them.
For that reason, preachers have failed to changed them since they are their members.
In terms of authority, Takim exalted the church above the government stating that the government comes after the church since it is the church that teaches people what to do and not the government.
Many Kenyans have showered praise to the Nigerian preacher terming him as the only wise leader in the church.
Kenyans have also slammed church leaders for not taking the mantle to help the government fight corruption.
