Arsenal Suffers a Major Setback For Their Top-Four Finish Campaign

Arsenal have been hit by a huge blow after the release of Ramsey’s injury update.

Arsenal are currently battling for a top-four finish alongside Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham.

With only two matches remaining for the Premier League to come to an end, Arsenal need to win all the remaining two matches to raise their chances of the top-four slot.

Alternatively, the Gunners can work hard and clinch the Europa trophy to secure a chance in next season’s Champions League.

However, their star Aaron Ramsey’s injury seems to be building a setback for Emery’s boys.

The Welsh midfielder has limped out of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final clash against Arsenal in Napoli.

Ramsey had already accepted a contract to join Juventus in January and leave Arsenal at the end of the season, at the end of his contract.

The 27-year-old was in a rich form and hoped to be in the final game of Arsenal’s season in the league, before a possible final of the Europa League in Baku, Azerbaijan.

However, it is claimed that Ramsey’s injury is worse than feared at first and specialists have confirmed that he will not play this season.

The Gunners are set to meet Valencia tomorrow for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final before facing Brighton on Sunday for their second last Premier League match.
