Secretary General Francis Atwoli has branded the Kikuyus of nowadays as ‘Washenzi’.
He also urged President Kenyatta not to be intimidated and should work for the betterment of Kenyans.
Atwoli was refencing Kibaki’s regime when he ascend to power after defeating KANU for the first time in history.
Raila wa behind the Kibaki after they formed the opposition party apart from the ruling party, KANU.
Raila had said that the main reason he supported Kibaki was because there was a lot of ethnicity in KANU and they formed opposition party.
After securing the presidential seat, Atwoli revealed that Raila was called after the government was set and given a slot which was not that great.
What does this imply to the current Kikuyus?
President Uhuru Kenyatta since the ascension to power has been ‘unable’ to decide on many things that he has a mandate on like fighting corruption.
The recent fights between Deputy President William Ruto and Atwoli is the root cause why h thinks Kenyatta is intimidated.
He was earlier caught saying that William Ruto will not be on the ballot comes 2022.
