Propesa thanks China for rejecting SGR loan in hilarious song

Comedy group Propesa has produced a song thanking China for rejecting a ‘plea’ from president Kenyatta and Raila Odinga to secure SGR loan.

Propesa thanked the Chinese government for standing firm and not giving out loans to the over-borrowing government.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga last week headed to China to secure SGR loan that will extend it from Naivasha to Kisumu.

The over-hyped trip to China that would have seen them secure 368 billion for extension of SGR from Naivasha to Kisumu.

But by bad luck, they failed to get the loans as anticipated and the SGR will not reach Kisumu anymore.

However, Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita said the question of funding for the extension of the SGR from Naivasha to Kisumu was not on the agenda of the meeting between the Uhuru and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Waita was reacting after the Nation and the Standard’s front page Saturday headlines reported on the ‘unsuccessful trip’ by Uhuru and AU special envoy Raila Odinga where they failed to secure the over Sh300 billion loan deal.

Propesa in a Rhumba acoustic, said “Mungu ni Mungu tu” saying that Kenya is in CRB.
