Suspicious Driver Stops: See What DCI Finds!

Officers drawn from the DCI arrested Kiambu County officials after they were found aboard a vehicle with fake registration numbers.

In the event, police would later on be shocked to find loads of cash in US currency amounting to Sh6 million.

The detectives questioned the vehicle occupants after the raid, where they denied ownership of the money.

A close scrutiny on the arrested suspects revealed they were Ms Faith Harrison and Mr Harrison Irungu.

In the vehicle, police also found an official rubber stamp for the United Nations (UN)

“Detectives intercepted a Motor Vehicle along Mpaka road in Parklands on suspicion of having Fake registration numbers and arrested two suspects,” a statement from the DCI read.

“The two suspects both denied that they owned the cash that was found in the vehicle. Further investigations are ongoing,” the DCI said.
