Marcus Rashford to Barcelona:
According to Daily Mail, Barcelona are ready to push through a £100million summer move for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.
The 21-year-old England star will have just one year remaining on his current deal at the end of the season.
The Red Devils are keen to offer Rashford a new, improved £300,000-a-week deal to keep him at the club until 2024.
However Rashford is stalling on signing a new contract amid the chaos at United, who have lost seven of their last nine games under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
This is something that the Catalan giants are keen to take advantage off, according to The Sun.
Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan:
Italian media reports that Internazionale are willing to end Alexis Sanchez’s disaster of a spell at Manchester United – but only if the Chilean drastically drops his demands.
The forward was signed in January 2018 amid much fanfare, and for huge wages, but has badly struggled in his time at Old Trafford and only came on as a late substitute in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
United have for a while now been planning to offload Sanchez, but the sheer size of his wages – around £500,000 a week, with bonuses – have created a huge problem where sources close to the situation say there is “almost no market for him”.
David de Gea to PSG:
Manchester United is braced for a summer transfer saga with Paris Saint-Germain over David De Gea.
Manchester United believe the Spanish keeper’s head has been turned by PSG, who will pay the £350,000-a-week wages he cannot land at Old Trafford.
According to The Sun, there are fears at United the 28-year-old will get to the French giants when they pile the pressure on with a bid at the end of the season.
De Gea has just one season left on his contract and a £60million offer will ramp up the pressure to accept – or lose him for nothing within a year.
Out-of-form De Gea, who was criticised for both Manchester City goals in Wednesday night’s defeat, is also wanted by Juventus and Real Madrid.
Real almost signed De Gea four years ago as paperwork was not submitted on time – and Zinedine Zidane now has Thibaut Courtois as his No1.
Lukaku to Serie A:
Romelu Lukaku has once again stated that he wants to play in Italy during his career, leaving his Manchester United future in serious doubt.
The Belgian striker arrived at Old Trafford in 2017 and has three more seasons left on his contract after the current one.
However, Lukaku has not been afraid to speak his mind, particularly on his desire to make a switch to Serie A at some stage.
‘Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream,’ Lukaku told Sky Italia.
‘I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United.’
Chelsea are seriously considering signing Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho as a replacement for Eden Hazard, if the Belgian ace join Real Madrid this summer.
PSG have put a £26m price tag on Belgian right-back Thomas Meunier, who is wanted by Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United.
