Autopsy reveals why woman died during birth at city hospital

Post mortem results on the body of the late Helen Wanjiru who died during childbirth at the St Teresa’s Hospital in Kikuyu reveals that she died from excessive bleeding.

The late Wanjiru died after a botched caesarean operation at the private facility.

Two hospital staff have already been arrested in connection with the death of Helen Wanjiru while the responsible doctor is still at large.

The cases of medical negligence in the country have been on the rise.

Recently a woman was captured on a video delivering at Shallom hospital without help as those responsible were ‘busy’ enjoying tea.
