Renown Lingala dancer Kanda King has for the first time opened up about the incident of his wife going missing.
Some of his fans thought of the news as a public stunt but Kanda King clarified saying that indeed his wife left for a day without telling him where she went to or what she was upto.
Kanda King also added that at that point,his wife had gone to shoot a video without informing him and had not been back home after a whole day.
“Ilikua tense kidogo because my wife did not tell me she was going to do a video so akadissapear tu, the next thing nikaona beste yangu… amenitumia picha kwa whatsapp, nikashangaa huyu amepotea aje harudi one day na haniambii chochote” he said
The dancer mentioned that he had shared a photo of his wife and another man saying that he wanted him dead or alive.
Kanda King then later learnt that his wife Tasha had gone to his friends’ place to finalize on her video.
Despite the tension, the dancer then reunited with his wife and even went on to hype her song which was released a day after he announced she was missing.
Most celebrities and artistes are known to use such stunts to get peoples attention but Kanda King distanced himself from describing his incident as a public stunt.
