Diani Reef Beach Resort outshines other hotels to scoop five-star award status

The coastal strip boasts of some of the most beautiful coastal hotels serving some of the indigenous foods including luxurious and rich ea foods.

But it does not stop there, there are more than the food that is served, the services provided in these places are of great consideration and the coastal hotels provide a good view of the ocean.

Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa outshone all other hotels and resorts in Kenya and has once again been awarded five-star status by the Tourism Regulatory Authority.

The authority’s Director General Kipkorir Lagat said the rating was approved after a ‘rigorous assessment that proved that it meets the required standard for the award.

“Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa has been awarded five (5) star rating. This is after the hotel scored 100 % on essential items as required by the EAC grading procedure,” Lagat said in a letter conferring the award.

According to Bobby Kamani, Managing Director, Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa, this classification will give Diani Reef a boost to its local and international tourist markets who can expect quality and reliable hospitality services.

“The Diani Reef Family is ecstatic to once again be awarded the Five Star Classification by the Tourism Regulatory Authority,” he said, “We are immensely grateful to our team and credit this achievement to their tireless efforts; uplift in service and refreshment of key areas of the property in 2018.

The classification follows the recent recognition of the facility as “Africa’s Leading Beach Resort” at the 2018 World Travel Awards and being nominated once again for “Africa’s Leading Beach Resort” and “Kenya’s Leading Beach Resort” at the 2019 World Travel Awards. 0
