Wasafi artiste Diamond Platnumz has responded to accusations of being a deadbeat father.
Diamond says that he accepted that Zari made the choice to break up with him but he was afraid that after the break, she would be hard on him on issues related to their children.
The couple have two children together but Zari has always hinted on raising them alone.
Diamond however says that he has always tried his best to perform his fatherhood duties and responsibilities but he blames Zari for not giving him space to interact with the children.
Speaking during an interview on Wasafi FM,Diamond says that he used to send upkeep money ever since they split with Zari except for about 2 months.
Diamond says that he asked for a contact to communicate with his children since calling Zari frequently would either upset her or bother her.
The Singer says that he called several times through Zari’s son but in some instances there was no response and he was unable to reach out to his children.
Diamond says that Zari on social media accused him of not wanting to see his children yet she always puts barriers that limit him from having access.
Diamond says that he loved Zari but he knew that Zari loved him more. He however revealed that Zari cheated on him with Nigerian artist Peter (P Square) and he found out through some messages on her phone.
The artiste says that he decided to revenge and this resulted to their break up.
