THREE-WORD Eden Hazard To Real Madrid Update Chelsea Fans MUST Hear

Will he stay? The former Blues star spoke to the Totally Football Show and dropped a major hint over the Belgian’s future.

Hazard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for some time now, as it is believed Madrid see him as a perfect replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the Bernabeu last season.

Madrid’s failure to replace the megastar at the time has led many to believe they will make a move for the Chelsea forward this summer.

Reports have even suggested that a deal could be completed and announced in the coming days, with a reported £86million price tag suggested.

However, Nevin claimed to have heard from a source inside Chelsea that the deal isn’t actually as close as it may seem.

“Can I say one thing on that? I thought for quite a long time that Eden Hazard definitely is going to Real Madrid, I thought for quite a long time,” Nevin told The Totally Football Show.

“I was staying at the Chelsea hotel last night. I walked out of Chelsea on the way here this morning and I met somebody who I won’t name at the club.

“And I said: ‘Of course, with Eden going…’ and he looked at me and he went: ‘you think so?’.

“And I did not expect that reaction from that person, that specific person.

“Cause we’ve all kind of accepted that he’s going, so you don’t know.

“I mean, to be fair, if I was [Real] I’d be trying to get [Kylian] Mbappe more than Hazard, but you might not be able to get him, that’s the one I’d be looking for.

“Anyway, the rebuild at Real Madrid, it is monumental, it’s massive.”

Hazard hasn’t helped himself with all the rumors circulating, as he has continually talked up Madrid as a club and the quality of head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Last week, he said “I am not a Real Madrid player.

“But as a supporter of Zidane, I was very happy that he came back because football needs Zidane.

“For Real it is good, for the supporters of Real it is good, but for the other teams a bit less, because Real Madrid with Zinedine Zidane win a lot, so it will be difficult.”
