It is all out there for everyone to see and Manchester City supporters believe Bernardo Silva exhibited the traits of a future captain in Manchester City’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham.

It ensured City remain in pole position for a maiden Premier League title defense, with Pep Guardiola’s side guaranteed to pip Liverpool with victory in each of their four remaining games.

Foden’s header came amid an electric start by City, with Bernardo Silva proving a persistent thorn in Tottenham‘s side.

Bernardo is on the shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year award along with Raheem Sterling after his impressive performances this season, and City fans on Twitter believe the former Monaco prospect should wear the armband at the Etihad when Vincent Kompany ends his illustrious Blues career.
