The death of Former President Daniel Arap Moi’s first son Jonathan Moi continues to draw reactions from a number of key political leaders from different sides of the political divide.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga have already sent their message of condolences to the Moi Family with both of them celebrating the late Jonathan for being a humble and kind man who was a great Safari rally driver.
Deputy President William Ruto has also not been left behind with the Country’s second in command taking his time to mourn with the Moi family during this difficult time.
Ruto has said that the late Jonathan made his name as an enthusiastic, competitive and masterful rally driver.
The DP has added that he was sociable, affable and loved a good love.
“Saddened by the passing on of Jonathan Toroitich, son of former President Moi. Jonathan made his name as an enthusiastic, competitive and masterful rally driver. He was sociable, affable and loved a good laugh,” Said Ruto.
“Jonathan treasured family, friendships and committed himself to bettering the lives of others. Rest In Peace,” he added.
