The governor of Nairobi Couty has commended NTV Swahili news anchor Jane Ngoiri for condemning a bus tout for littering in the Central Business District.
While taking to social media Jane Ngoiri expressed her dissapointment towards the tout’s bad behavior which seemed klike taking advantage of the City county workers.
“Conductor of this bus just threw a bottle on the road along Kenyatta Avenue. I ask him why he is littering? His answer, ‘Si kanjo watachukua’ Tabia mbaya sana. @2Mmanagement fundisha wafanyikazi wako umuhimu wa kutotupa taka taka hovyo! “
To her response governor Sonko said, “My compliments to NTV journalist @janengoiri for her advice to Nairobians. It might sound petty but I’m sure with this kind of support we will finally get a solution to this littering problem. #MyWasteMyResponsibility”
