‘Tourist president and 2022 campaigning deputy’

A Kenyan man on Twitter has expressed pessimism that business will make any remarkable progress when President Uhuru Kenyatta has become a tourist with his Deputy William Ruto concentrating on 2022 succession politics.

The man identified as Hezron Kamau tweeted:
‘Show me one factory or even light industry opened after elections in 2017???The cost of doing business in kenya is not friendly to the businessmen/manufacturers.The president has become a tourist and the deputy is only eyeing 2022!!!And thats Kenya for you!!!’

Just recently, the Energy Regulatory Commission announced increased fuel prices. The move is expected to negatively impact on business and the cost of living.
