Police in Samburu have launched a manhunt for a Form Two student who is alleged to have stabbed his neighbour to death at Kawap village in Samburu North.
According to the area Chief Sammy Lothuru, the deceased succumbed to knife injuries while he was being rushed to Samburu County Referral Hospital in Maralal town.
The Form Two student had allegedly tried to seduce the deceased’s daughter leading to an altercation.
The Chief also claimed that the girl rejected the suspect’s advances and reported the matter to her father.
The man then reported the incident to the suspect’s father who summoned him to explain what had happened.
It is at this point that the attack apparently occurred.
