Akothee Madam Boss is arguably the richest artiste-cum-businesswoman in East Africa.
The self-proclaimed president of single mother has been on the receiving end of praises after spearheading the noble act of supporting Turkana people.
During an interview on Friday, Akothee shared her life journey in Turkana and that she understood what the community underwent.

When asked by Jalang’o how long should ladies put on weaves, she said one should go for a week or three days.
“Kama hiyo weave nilivaa on my birthday ilikuwa 76,000 na yenye nilivaa juzi ilikuwa 68,000,” madam boss said.
The shocked presenters could not believe that Madam Boss could wear the whole rent of 7 months in her head.
She also added that the one she was wearing in the studio was Ksh 86,000.
This proves that she is really is making some money out of music and her business.
