Few days ago, World Boxing Council(WBC) super champion Fatuma Zarika aka Iron fist made Kenyans proud when she beat Zambia’s Catherine Phiri in Nairobi on March to retain the title.

Her win was duly celebrated and appreciated by countless Kenyan leaders and common wananchi who did not only shower her with congratulatory messages but also mouth watering treats.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s family recently joined the list of people appreciating Zarika’s win after hosting a feast in honour of the mother of two.

It is reported that some members of Uhuru’s family over the weekend threw a private party for the boxer in which they feasted and mingled freely.

The party was held at an undisclosed location in Nairobi and saw the attendance of several members of the first family who included the president’s Cucu B, her daughter Martha Vincent, Uhuru’s daughter Ngina Kenyatta among others.

According to a local daily, the invite-only affair was solely organized by Uhuru’s family as a way to appreciate the boxer’s exemplary performance.

The party photos are perfect proof the boxer, who was accompanied by her daughter had fun to the fullest.
