Tanzanian Singer Darassa has revealed that he once visited a witchdoctor
Darassa says that he was never a fan of witchcraft but many people in the society he comes from believe that one cannot succeed without consulting a witchdoctor.
On how he ended up visiting one, Darassa says that he had released his first song back in 2013 and he saw that it was so difficult to push through.
Darassa says that his friend influenced him to go to the witchdoctor and despite being told that he was one of the best, things were still not working out for him.
He hinted that during his visit, he asked many questions to challenge the witch doctor and this did not end up well. He also admits that the fact that he visited a witchdoctor is nothing he was happy about.
The Singer says that his decision not to give in led to a split between him and his friend and eventually he made it even without the witch doctor’s help.
Darassa warned that one of the things hindering many people from succeeding is the belief in witchcraft and he says that he can never ever be associated with it.
He also made it clear that his experience made him strengthen his faith in God and that faith is what pushed him to his destiny.
