Kakamega, Homa Bay Women Reps hailed for Prudent Use of Funds

The National Government Affirmative Action Funds (Ngaaf) has announced that in all the 47 Woman Representatives, the Kakamega and Homa Bay Woman legislators are the ones who have best utilised the allocated affirmative action funds best.

Each of the 47 Women Reps gets Sh100 million for projects in their counties through Ngaaf. However, Kakamega rep Elsie Muhanda and Homa Bay’s Gladys Wanga utilized the funds prudently unlike some who ‘squandered the funds.’

“We have leaders who started Saccos, but they squandered the money along the way. Ethics Anti-Corruption Commission will soon be notified to crack the whip,” said Ms Ndambuki.
