Just forget about 2022, Kuria tells ODM leader Raila Odinga

Controversial Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria has urged the AU Envoy Raila Odinga to quit the 2022 presidential Race following his big fall in the just ended Ugenya and Embakasi South By-election.

While taking to his face book account Kuria wrote, “I send my condolences to Baba for losing both at home in Ugenya and away in Embakasi South. From the foregoing it is clear that 2022 is an outright two horse dead heat between William Ruto and myself. I seek your support Baba”

His comment came after, Embakasi South, ODM party candidate Irshad Sumra conceded defeat to Wiper’s Julius Mawathe while David Ochieng won the Ugenya Parliamentary seat over Chris Karan.

Kuria who declared his ambition to run for the top seat now feels the ball now belongs to him and the Deputy President William Ruto who has also showed interest to take over from President Kenyatta after his term comes to an end.
