Pastor James Ng’ang’a arrested again for allegedly defrauding businessman

Controversial Neno Evangelism Centre founder Pastor James Ng’ang’a has spent the night again at Central Police Station.

Reports indicate that the clergyman was arrested for allegedly defrauding a businessman of Sh3.6 million.​

He is currently held at the station.

In recent weeks, Ng’ang’a has been hitting headlines for the wrong reasons and had been charged with threatening to kill Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai.

Few days ago, video of Apostle Ng’ang’a repenting in the wilderness went viral on social media.


In the undated video, the Neno Evangelism Centre founder is donning sackcloth and at some point pours dust over his head as a sign of submission.​

According to his message, the video must have been recorded right before the General Election since he is calling for calm and repentance before the nation goes to the polls.
