Former celebrated Citizen journalist Johnson Mwakazi recalls the day a friend of his called him when he was driving. What was alarming however was the excitement on his friends voice.
The pal was very happy to hear Mwakazi’s voice and the former TV host could not understand what was going on.
People had spread word that he was dead.
I was driving and someone calls me saying, ‘ooh Johnstone ooh ooh. it’s good to hear your voice!’ I asked what’s happening?
He tells me, ‘Johnson, there is this particular message online…’ so quickly I had to call my wife because I realized if someone called her first it would be a different ball game.
Just recently, Mwakazi opened up on his battle with pornography adding that he was introduced to the vice by a classmate.
According to him, it did not cross his mind that whatever he was doing was wrong until a teacher stated it was.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with a local station he says;
I was in class 8 and my friend suggested that we go watch a film adding that he would pay for it. I did not know what kind of film it was but I followed him anyway.
I found out later that the film my friend had offered to pay for me was actually pornography after that I also looked for a friend of mine and decided to pay for him so that he could watch.
His advice to fellow men is stay away from pornography
As a man when you watch pornography yes you will get aroused, but it is not normal. Every time you arouse yourself through pornography you become an animal.
