Akothee jumps to the aid of expectant woman who was hit by drunk driver

Kenyan Female artist Akothee has today jumped in to the aid of an expectant woman who was hit by a drunk driver and made a medical appeal for Kenyans to come to her aid.

In s social media post, the family reached out and asked Kenyans to help them reach female artist Akothee who is now popular for her philanthropic works.

In response to the appeal, Akothee asked anyone who has their contact to reach out to them saying that she has made plans for the expectant mother to receive medical assistance with the promise of paying her bills.

Catherine Wanjiru was hit by a drunk driver in 17th January 2019
She sustained injuries on her pelvis and lower back

At the time of the accident, she was 14 weeks pregnant and the baby miraculously survived.

The family made the appeal for funds to help her recover fully and manage her condition until she delivers in July later thus year.

Family revealed that the expectant mother was in an urgent need of 250k for physiotherapy.
