Hold up,what happened to the ‘young souls’ that had career goals and ambitions?

It’s sad how high school kids be thinking of finishing school and do music get famous and have money, I mean its not a bad idea to do music but hold up, what happened to the young souls that had career goals and ambitions?

If I had a nickel for every time I heard an adult say that youth these days act irresponsibly or worse than their generation, I would be rich.  It is definitely true that each generation has unique differences based on common experiences. 

Understanding these differences helps older generations understand and better empathize with their children and grandchildren.  Often, this understanding helps bridge many gaps as it becomes clear that each generation has both strengths and weaknesses.

Unlike the older generation, today’s youth are tough to manage.

The younger generation has been accused of being entitled, narcissistic, self-interested, unfocused, lazy and even social media dependent.

Most of these youngsters want to work in a place with purpose, ‘make an impact’ (or whatever that means) and want free food and bean bags.

Even when given all these, they still are not happy.

This generation has lost morality, respect, diligence, and anything that makes a decent person.

Not everyone is screwed up but majority are, they live their life on their phone. Getting into crap that screws them up in the head destroying any morals they have and boundaries.

This generation grew up with technology and became lazy, because everything is done for them and there is always an easy way out. I speak from experience, because I am a one of the millennials, but WOW this is another level of pathetic, no one takes the time and effort to grow and learn.

This is the generation that will up with social media- Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. I am not sure which led to one or the other, but this generation has are suffering from low self-esteem. They are good putting filters on things and show people that everything is amazing even though they are depressed.

Is it really the fault of the current generation?

I think it’s utterly ridiculous that people nowadays think that this generation is the worst so far. Come on, we all know each generation has its pros and cons but to go as far as to call it the worst is just insane.

Why are we the worst generation?

Poverty? No that never started with us it has been here forever, better blame the first generation then. In fact it is youth that step up to try to reduce poverty ever heard of the movements held by youth to raise funds for charities?

Cyberbullying? That’s silly, comparing to how long bullying has been in this world and has simply been made more aware since media is easily accessible.

Without these cases of cyberbullying would we be even aware of bullying which has been present for ages? Would we be more aware of people being bullied at the corner of the road or on the net? The net of course, which leads to campaigns protests lawsuits whatever it takes to stop the vile human being.

Rude, ignorant, childish? That’s even more appalling since egotism has been taken to a whole other level with those accusations. Are you trying to say that you were never any of those? In your generation? Are you trying to say it never existed before the current generation?

Social media? Is social media really that bad? Where are all of the campaigns for human rights sprouting out from? Where did the idea of being married as a lgbtq person garner support from? Where do people go to be informed of the current time through the instant newspaper article or where do people go to get hundreds of perspectives to see if they are simply blocking their mind to the truth.

BOTTOM LINE: NO ONE WANTS TO TRY OR WORK HARD, EVERYTHING IS DONE AND WE HAVE TO RELY ON OTHERS, NOT EVERYONE IS LIKE THIS BUT THIS UNFORTUNATELY MAKES UP A LOT. WE HAVE BECOME MORE OPEN MINDED, BUT THIS IS DANGEROUS TO OUR SOCIETY.
