Cabinet Secretary, CS for Interior and Coordination of National Government Dr Fred Matiang’i has announced that all motorbikes for Chiefs will be procured from local manufacturers.
Dr Matiang’i made the revelation on Thursday at the 3rd Kenya Manufacturing Summit and Expo 2019 festival by Kenya Association of Manufacturers, KAM at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
The annual event offers an opportunity for industry, stakeholders and the public to celebrate and deliberate on transforming the nation through industrialization.
Honda Kenya is known to assemble motorbikes in Nairobi.
