When we think of Pastors, we imagine individuals that are meant to lead us to the path of light, to pray for us during the most tumultous times of our lives, and to help us receive the blessings of the Most High!
Indeed, pastors are expected to be a beacon of hope in a society that is ridiculed by immorality and social decadence.
Bu that’s not the case here:
If anything, pastors have become the subject of ridicule because of their immoral behaviors and attitudes.
And this pastor has decided to take it too far!
A pastor in Western Kenya nearly faced the wrath of a mob after his wife confessed to the community elders that she was violently beaten by her pastor husband.
According to the lady who did not want to disclose her name, ever since she got betrothed to the ‘Man of God’ 5 years ago, he has gone from angel to monster in the most vicious of ways.
According to the missus, the pastor began snarling his teeth as soon as she got pregnant because she was unable to satisfy his ravaging desire for s3x.
The man would come home every night and force himself on her while their baby was still growing.
If she refused, he would frantically whip out his belt and begin thrashing her.
At some point, she would lose consciousness because of all the physical and emotional anguish she was experiencing.
For five years, she endured the trauma for fear of being labelled a liar by the society. How would they ever believe that a pastor could be this violent?
Additionally, the pastor was the sole bread winner of the family thanks to the bountiful offerings they received from the congregation.
The lady did not want to go back to poverty again.
That was until the pastor did the most brutal thing to her.
While pregnant with their second child, the pastor recently came home drunk and beat her to a pulp.
If that’s not enough, he took her to a private doctor the next day and forced her to have abortion.
Completely shattered, that’s when the lady decided that she had had enough and reported the matter to her father, who happened to be a member of the council of elders.
Infuriated, her father assembled a mob and proceeded to the Pastor’s home.
And if it wasn’t for the intervention of the police, it is safe to say that the pastor would be no more!
Nevertheless, this sheds light on the double lives that most pastors are living out there.
