Suspected gang members chop off man ear then freed

A middle age man in Likoni is nursing injuries after a suspected gang of 8 chopped of his ear then freed to the thin air.

Mr. Said Ali narrates that he was attacked while riding a bicycle on Tuesday morning.

He states that he was attacked using machete and the group then freed while harassing other members off the public.

“I was cycling my bicycle, when I arrived at Kona Zamani as I was about to join the main road, armed men forcefully stopped me and started slashing me” Ali was quoted by a section of the media.

Though he says the gang members did not steal anything from him, he sustained serious injuries on his arms.

His claim has been confirmed by police booth operating within the area.

Likoni Subdistrict hospital successfully managed to reattach his ear before transferring him to the Coast Provincial General Hospital.

He sustain injuries and currently receiving treatment at the coast provincial hospital
