Unai Emery Reveals ONE Thing Gunners Need For Top-Four Finish

That’s what head coach Unai Emery claimed after last night’s 2-0 win over Newcastle.

The win was Arsenal’s 10th home league win in a row.

The Gunners leapfrogged Tottenham into third place with their win over the Magpies, and are now two points clear of Spurs and Manchester United.

Away from home, however, Arsenal have found results hard to come by.

In their last six away league games, Emery’s side have lost three and drawn one, with just one win coming against now-relegated Huddersfield.

And the Spaniard believes that the key to keeping their place in the top four is their away form.

“Our target is very clear,” he said.

“It’s going to be very difficult but step-by-step we’ve started to rise up the table after the first two matches in the Premier League when we lost against Manchester City and Chelsea.

“We are improving and now we are third.

“But we know it is going to be difficult for us because our opposition is big opposition and it is going to be very tough for us.

“We need to convince people that we can be consistent away.

“Our challenge is away because we are going to play five matches away in the last seven matches.

“Our challenge is to be as consistent away as we are at home.”

Arsenal are on the road again this weekend when they take on Everton at Goodison Park, in the first of five remaining away league games.

They will face Crystal Palace and Brighton at home in their only remaining league games at the Emirates.
