Manchester United, whose present deal with Adidas is reportedly worth £75 million(Ksh. 8.5 Billion) per year, has the largest in the English top flight, currently.

Lonsdale CEO Bernard Hart has published a statement on his official website. “Our partnership with Liverpool Football Club is the largest deal that we have ever done – both in scope and ambition,” he said.

The deal, which will come into effect from July is worth more than quadruple the arrangement with current kit supplier New Balance.
The news was announced by Fenway Sports Group, the club’s parent company, on Thursday.
“It is a special day for us. Lonsdale’s three-quarter shorts have always been popular in Sports Direct,” said Liverpool chief executive Peter Moore.
“I have seventeen pairs myself, I never leave the house without a pair in my suitcase,” he added.
