Tanzanian Sensation Mimi Mars has shared her Coke Studio Experience with her fans.
The Singer says that being involved in Coke Studio 2019 is something she is grateful for and she has always wanted to be part of an all female song and project but she had not been selected for any opportunity of that kind.
Mimi Mars says that since Coke Studio selected her to be part of that platform and feature in the Season Finale; she feels that her work is appreciated.
Together with Nandy, they represented Tanzania and the two artists are among the top female artists on top of the charts.
Mimi Mars says that working with other top African artists exposed her to ideas and different perceptions and the best part for her was during the recording period where they could all touch on their ideas through music.
MimiMars will be in the Coke Studio Season Finale together with other artists Nazizi representing Kenya, Lioness (Namibia), Boity (South Africa), Sheebah (Uganda), Nandy (Tanzania), Lourena Nhate (Mozambique), Tamy (Zimbabwe) and music producer Viola Karuri (Kenya), among others.
This will be the first time in the history of the Pan-African music property to feature an all-female episode, that will include female singers, rappers, music producers, studio engineers, a full band, as well as key behind the scenes crew like, content directors, scriptwriters, editors, camera operators and floor managers amongst others.
