Moses Kuria disappointed by KU students for disrupting Museveni’s speech using Bobi Wine’s name

Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has express his disappointment from the students of Kenyatta Students after they disrupted Uganda President Museveni’s speech.

According to Kuria, the students should not have chant using Bobi Wine’s name but instead they could have told him to take back his sugar, milk and poultry because his he (Museveni)got Kenya a very bad trade deal.

“Kenya got a very bad trade deal from Uganda bilateral negotiations. Our farmers were left dead. But when Museveni went for a lecture at Kenyatta University, the students did not chant “Take back your sugar, milk, poultry, eggs,tiles & dry port” Instead they shouted “Bobi Wine!”Moses Kuria tweet.

Police were forced to lob tear gas canisters at rowdy Kenyatta University students who were shouting pro-Bobi Wine chants outside a building where President Yoweri Museveni was giving a public lecture.

The students numbering tens at first complained about being locked out of the amphitheater where Mr Museveni was giving his lecture at the main campus on Thika-Nairobi highway.

At first, the students where chanting “haki yetu” (our right) which later morphed into pro-Bobi Wine slogans.

Bobi Wine is a member of Parliament in Uganda and musician who has been vocal against Mr Museveni’s leadership and has been mulling running for president.
