A woman from Bomet who was out on bail after being arrested for bhang possession is in police custody yet again.
50-year-old Margaret Moraa was rearrested on Thursday after she was found in possession of bhang rolls.
Members of the public reportedly tipped off police after noticing what they termed as ‘unusual behavior’ and strangers coming in and out of her home.
Police raided the house and found the bhang rolls at the house in Silibwet Trading Center.
The woman had earlier been arrested and charged with a similar offence at a Bomet Law court.
She had been released on cash bail of Ksh. 10,000.
Bomet Central police boss Geoffrey Walumbe said officers from the county managed to rescue the suspect from members of the public who were baying for her blood.
