Ole Gunnar has broken his silence in the wake of his appointment as Manchester United manager.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously insisted that he’s very much his own man but cannot take all the credit for Manchester United’s resurgence during his time as caretaker manager so far.
After months of speculation, interim boss Solskjaer has finally been rewarded for his efforts by landing a contract that keeps him at Old Trafford until 2022.

“From the first day I arrived, I felt at home at this special club,” said Solskjaer.
“It was an honour to be a Manchester United player, and then to start my coaching career here.
“This is the job that I always dreamed of doing and I’m beyond excited to have the chance to lead the club long-term and hopefully deliver the continued success that our amazing fans deserve.”
Since taking over in December, Solskjaer has been accompanied in the dugout by first-team coaches Mike Phelan, Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.
Away from the competitive environment of matchdays, Ole has commended the work that his staff have done on the training ground to help not just unify the players but convey a playing style that has helped the Reds go on an unbeaten run of nine matches in all competitions.
