A Kawangware woman behind forgery of birth and death certificates in Nairobi was on Wednesday arraigned in court.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspected who has been identified as Jackline Kwamboka Abuga was arrested at her house in Kawangware, Nairobi.
Apart from the fake certificates, other items that were recovered from the suspect during the arrest include a computer, printer, seal for civil registrations and other assorted documents.
The police believe the suspect has been printing the birth and death certificates at her house in Kawangare and selling them to unsuspecting Kenyans.
Investigations are at an advanced stage to have her accomplices arrested.
