How construction of prefabricated building by county has costed Kenyans missing millions

As graft continues to haunt Kenyans daily with massive losses being reported,more officials are being trapped in the hook that has become the most controversial topic in the country.

It has been revealed that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has nabbed five suspects including the former Siaya county Secretary Kepha Marube and former director of supply chain Tobias Oloo in the misappropriation of sh 22.5 million.

The two are now set to be charged with irregular awarding of tenders for the construction of a prefabricated building, while three directors of Mu-salem Company Limited will also be charged alongside them.

The five are; former Siaya County Secretary Kephas Marube, Former Director Supply Chain, Tobias Oloo and three directors of Mu-Salem Company Ltd; Arystirico Muhanda, James Okware Emondo and Felix Matibai.

They will be arraigned on Wednesday before the Anti-Corruption Court in Kisumu County.

The five arraigned to face charges of conspiracy were taken to Railways police station for booking and later taken to court.
