Dreams come true! 10 year old artist Sheila Sheldon meets Ugandan President

Kenyan 10 year old artist Sheila Sheldone has today met with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni who is currently in Kenyan on his 2 day visit.

The young artist says that today marked the day that her wish came true and she managed to give the Ugandan President a portrait she had done of him.

Following this meeting with Museveni, Sheilah describes him as a loving person. She also broke the news to her fans that she will be going to Uganda soon and she is excited about this.

Through her artwork, Sheila Sheldone has become popular not just in the country but beyond.

Some of her achievements include winning a global award and also having been featured in both local and international media.

Sheila shot to fame last year after painting a portrait of President Uhuru Kenyatta and presenting it to him at State House, Nairobi.

She has also sold numerous portraits locally and internationally.

Some of her remarkable paintings include portraits of former US President Barack Obama, rights activist Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Oprah Winfrey.

Sheila has also drawn and painted governors Hassan Joho and Salim Mvurya of Mombasa and Kwale counties respectively.

Apart from making portraits, Sheila dreams of becoming a designer and a model when she grows up is already cashing in on her portraits.
