As 2022 politics takes shape, hopefully aspirants are busy on politics leaving nothing to chance with the two major rivals Dp Ruto and Raila taking on each other daily.
However, one political giant, Kalonzo Musyoka has off late been missing in active politics. Kenyans have been concerned about his absence with many speculating the Wiper Party leader could have secretly hanged his political boots after being betrayed by his former NASA Co-Principal Raila Odinga.
The last time Kalonzo was seen in public was last year October 2018 during his father’s burial at Seikuru where he mended fences with President Uhuru Kenyatta promising to be his Right Hand Man. After landing a job as
the head of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC) on peace in South Sudan, Kalonzo has since went silent.
Unconfirmed reports later speculated that the position which Kalonzo was given had since flopped leaving many questions as to whether Kalonzo’s mind was played with by the government and upon realizing it, Kalonzo decided to maintain a low profile away from the public limelight.
Whether Kalonzo his already lying on his retirement bed or not remains to be seen as the 2022 political pot continues to heat.
