Aileen Audrey was crowned as Ms Maseno University for the year 2019/2020 on 23rd of March 2019 in a Mr&Ms Maseno contest event hosted by Churchill show comedian well known as MCA Tricky.
The decision that was arrived at by a bench of judges led by a renowned Kisumu model Nivea Debra was seen by many as an unfair decision given that there were other contestants that many members of the public thought deserved the crown more that Aileen.
Photos of Aileen were shared online causing different reactions from various social media users. Ms Aileen has been facing criticism but according to the judges, their opinion was based on professionalism and not looks or skin color.
