Murkomen vows to fight for DP Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto’s ally Kipchumba Murkomen has comeout declaring to fight the corruption narrative that has been tainted at DP Ruto to bar him from 2022 race.

In his statement he said, “enough is enough” and they will not relent until the narrative that seeks to dampen Ruto’s candidature is done away with.

In addition to his statement he said, “We are aware that there are dirty tricks up the sleeves, targeted corruption investigations are part of them and we will not sit and watch as wrongs are done.”

The sharp reaction comes amid graft purge spearheaded by President Uhuru Kenyatta, which DP Ruto’s team believe is a choreographed move to scuttle his 2022 chances.

Notably, while addressing the faithful at the Africa Inland Church Kapngetuny, Kericho County, Ruto said that they will not allow people to create a narrative on corruption.

“We will resist and refuse and will reject any attempt by a people to weave together a narrative using political corruption propaganda,” he said. But just what are Ruto’s options?

The DP has continued with his fireworks, insisting on Wednesday in Mombasa that the war against corruption has been hijacked and smoothly transformed to 2022 politics, thus derailing the government’s development agenda.

At Namibia on Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta, who has come under pressure from Ruto’s team, said he will not be cowed in the ongoing fight against graft, adding that he will not even spare his closest political ally or friend.
